The core fundamental ideas expressed in Black Bird's new album, Bantu Queen, is how an African must take full possession and control of the fact that they are African. She cooked her album with the revolutionary precision you would expect from a person using music, rap music, to disseminate some vital and inspiring information.

Hustles, identity, love, political dynamics of Africa - these are the issues that Black Bird speaks of, with a command of 6 languages (Zulu, Sotho, Xhosa, Shona, Ndebele, Nyanja).
She still retains English as the main medium of dishing her ideas (because ultimately the music must be understood by all) but the way she adds the vernacular languages is simply impeccable.
She is here for her crown and throne, cementing her status as a hip hop OG from Zimbabwe.
It's an album that will definitely leave you inspired.
