Kae Chaps is definitely one of the most talented Zim Hip Hop
prospects. The 23 year old sensation started 2020 on a bright note seeing him
drop his debut video for the brilliant single Kilimanjaro before he went on to give
us an EP available on all digital platforms. He has recently released a mic
session where he performs a special love song Makuhwa which is just a flex of
what he is capable of. .

Kae Chaps has announced his debut album and named it Vanga
which translates to scar. The album name quickly relates to a gruesome attack
where he was stabbed with a knife some years back.
But it seems it is not the
scar which he will be addressing in the album. In a conversation with this author Chaps revealed, "The album is about lessons, pain, healing and a
reminder of what I have been through, life and love wise. Trust me it’s a very
deep project."
We are and have all been
wounded in some way at some point. The album will solidify the claims that he
is indeed a special talent on the brink of a breakthrough onto the mainstream.
It is indeed long overdue. His mellifluous vocals feature powerful lyricism an
attribute which has attracted many music heads to want more.
