Rising
hip-hop artist Donnell Msekiwa, popularly known as Ghost Gang, has released
another scorching single titled Sticky featuring Ab3l X off his upcoming
album set to be released in December. (Highlighting the need to give his fans
something solid to hold on to despite the Covid 19 pandemic setbacks.)
“Sticky
is my 4th project this year and I decided to work with Abel X on this one
because when the two of us combine forces it's always magic in the studio,” he
chuckled.
The project boasts of well organized keys and harmonies which provides a catchy hook for the audience to sing along to, proving that there is need to pay attention to the wave of new age rappers emerging out of Zim Hip Hop such as AK Luve, Obi Davids, Denim Woods and Xclusive, only to mention a few.
Asked
on what he looks forward to contribute towards the Hip-Hop industry in Southern
Africa, he responded that a lot must be done for us to be fully recognized
in the region.
“We
need more support from the corporate world in order to sustain the dream
because it allows more investors to have confidence in our craft; look at South
Africa, Ghana and Nigeria, they have created the environment for their artists,
we need that too,” he added.
