James Hove, whose stage name is Pjamez, is a recording hip hop artist from the City
Of Kings and Queens. He released a single titled Handimbomiri featuring
Easy TrT & Killer Nox last year in October. A song inspired by everyday
life's struggles, criticism, lack of advice and jealousy. It is also a
continuation of Raramo a song that he dropped on the 27th of April 2019.
He
reiterated that he still feels the same way right now in 2021 and we expect
that he's dropping something of similar context soon but better. Handimbomiri
to Pjamez is not just a song but it is a motivational piece, which frankly
it is, and more so becomes relevant in difficult COVID-19 times.
He
started his music career in 2014. His first single was iNumber. On the 17th
of October 2017 (his birthday) he dropped another single featuring dancehall
artist Killer Nox titled Akekh Omunye. At the Entumbane Merit Awards in December
2017 he won the Best Upcoming artist.
On
the 27th of April 2019 he dropped his first project, a 6 track EP tilted Elevation.
It is a motivational project which seems to be his comfort zone.
Pjamez
remarks, “I was inspired by a lot of things that l see each and every day in
life. For example, losing focus and lack of advice is the reason l wrote
Raramo, song (1), Way up, song (4) and Grinding, song (6).”
He
then wrote and released Bekezela. It is anothe motivational song the
subject on the song is encouraging and reminding people that its never too late
and pray to God to paramougrow.
As evidenced by his work ethic, Pjamez is not stopping anytime soon. He seems ready and determined to grow.
