Emtee is undoubtedly a pioneer for trap music in Africa. He rose to spectacular acclaim and celebration as an organic success straight from Egoli’s trenches.
By merit of natural selection Voltz
JT’s career has met its zenith with the discovery of gold on its way to
settling as Zimbabwe’s biggest trap star. Pfuurai Nekuno is out on all
streaming platforms and has lived up to expectations.
This blockbuster collaboration is the introduction to the much awaited album Life Of Muvhimi, the debut from the Chitungwiza bred superstar. The song has already aired on radio before the official release and the fans have had their say.
Attentive to a fair critique of the track, this author is of the view that had Emtee done the hook, ‘non-hip hop’ fans would have really appreciated Emtee’s talent.
His verse in vernacular surely
will fly over a majority of local fans. He couldn’t save it but predictably

Voltz JT went all out for his life and truly cherished the opportunity of rubbing shoulders with an inspirational figure in the hip hop space.
Jax da beat bully is in his wildest fantasies as shown by the hunger to exhaust much of his will house; the samples which also have been a talking point did justice to the beat.
Dir Leoy V brought the concept out well in the video. It is lovely to watch the three artists who for a longtime have worked some magic continue even on bigger platforms like this.
The song remains ‘Zimhiphop’ in identity and Emtee’s verse validates the sonic
trajectory which has taken Zimbabweans by storm.
