Chevron star, Sean Williams has been snapped up for the second edition of the International League T20. The left handed batter will be playing for the Sharjah Warriors. Williams is set to become the second Zimbabwean to participate in the United Arab Emirates league, following fellow all-rounder Sikandar Raza
Raza was retained by the Dubai Capitals. The pair are set to take part subject not being a critical Zimbabwe bilateral series.
Currently Sean Williams is part of the St Lucia Knights in the ongoing Republic Caribbean Premiere League (CPL). He is joined up by Sikandar Raza who is also playing for the same franchise. The pair were instrumental in their latest 54 run victory over the Barbados Royals.
Sean Williams top scored for the Kings with 47 off 30 balls whilst Raza smacked a quick-fire 23 off 13. Opening bowler, Blessing Muzarabani is likely to square up against his fellow Chevron teammates as he was signed up by St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
He is part of star-studded dressing room with the likes of Evin Lewis, Andre Fletcher and up and coming star Dewald Brevis.
