HARARE – The Heart Stadium, owned by Walter Magaya, has been temporarily barred from hosting Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches by the ZIFA First Instance Board (FIB).

The FIB, which inspects football stadiums nationwide for safety, infrastructure, and regulatory compliance, has deemed the Heart Stadium unfit for topflight matches.
Located in Waterfalls, Harare, the Heart Stadium has been operating without public toilets since its homologation in March, relying instead on overwhelmed mobile toilets hired for matchdays.
This suspension forces Magaya's club, Yadah Stars, to relocate to Rufaro Stadium in Mbare.
Currently, Rufaro Stadium is the only available venue in Harare for PSL teams.
Other stadiums, including the National Sports Stadium (situated between the Warren Park and Belvedere suburbs) and Highfield's Gwanzura Stadium, are in a state of disrepair.
Zimbabwe presently lacks a CAF-approved facility for international football games.
