This resounding win capped off a season of consistent excellence for the Patriots, who secured top spot on the final standings despite a thrilling head-to-head battle with Westside, who finished level on points. Takashinga 1 ultimately edged out Westside due to a superior head-to-head record.
The decisive victory was fueled by a remarkable bowling performance from Roy Kaia, who ripped through the BAC batting lineup, taking a stunning five wickets for just 22 runs in only six overs.

BAC, batting first, found themselves in early trouble, reaching 40 for 2 before Kaia's devastating spell triggered a complete collapse. He claimed three wickets in four balls, dismissing key batsmen and leaving BAC reeling at 44 for 8.
Only Pascal Murungi and Donald Tapfuma, who both managed 25 runs, offered any resistance.
Takashinga 1 then chased down their paltry target with ease. Tinashe Kamunhukamwe, playing with a dazzling array of shots, led the chase, smashing a brilliant 55 off just 25 balls, including three sixes and seven fours.
This victory marks a fitting end to a dominant season for the Takashinga Patriots 1, solidifying their status as the reigning champions of the NPL.
With successive titles now secured, the Patriots will be looking to build on this success and continue their reign of dominance in the coming seasons.
