On February 19, 2021, the child's mother left her in Khaki's care while she went to collect the family's social welfare food.
Upon returning, she found her daughter struggling to breathe with a deformed forehead, bruises on her chin, a swollen left side, and a scratch on her back.
The infant was taken to her grandmother, where it was determined she had already died. Investigations revealed that she had been struck on the head with a blunt object and had suffered multiple blows across her body.
Additionally, evidence confirmed she had been sexually abused.
A police report led to Khaki's arrest, culminating in his conviction and lengthy imprisonment.
