KADOMA - Gospel choir Dimensional Worship Foundation is set to release its first album titled The Worship Revolution 3 on 25 October, to be available on all digital streaming platforms.
In an interview with ZimSphere the visionary and the president of the choir Christopher Tatenda Murunguzha said they were excited to announce the release of the album; and this marks the third instalment of their sequel project which began in 2019.
“We are thrilled to announce the release of our debut full length album, The Worship Revolution 3: The Restored Live album,” he said.
“This marks the third instalment of our sequel project which began in 2019, inspired by Hosea 6:2; the restored theme celebrates our salvation through Jesus Christ and preaches hope through him.
“This album has 8 tracks and it’s a heartfelt thanksgiving testimony declaring God’s faithfulness amidst pain and loss.”
Murunguzha said the album was born out of passion to remind humanity of God’s unwavering love.
“The Worship Revolution 3: The Restored Live album was born out of passion to remind humanity of God’s unwavering love.
“We believe that God’s love is the foundation of our existence and his ultimate expression of love for giving us his only begotten son ,Jesus Christ and through him we can experience reconciliation and intimacy with our creator.
“So just like its title ‘Restored’ the album is a call for people to know and believe in what Christ did for us at the cross.”
The album brings out a thanksgiving testimony to us of how God has been faithful.
“The main themes of the album are as follows: salvation, restoration, thanksgiving and hope,” he said.
The album was produced at Craftec Gospel Studios by renowned producer Luther Sekelani and it also features a powerful minister in Kadoma who goes by the name Psalmist Zayna.
Murunguzha also said they faced challenges in mobilizing resources to make sure that they record the album, but managed to overcome these obstacles.
“We encountered some challenges of mobilizing resources to make sure that we recorded. It was never easy but we are grateful to God for his grace.
“The other challenge was also trying to make sure that everyone was available and that’s quite a challenge on its own because a number of our members were either at school ,outside Kadoma and others even at work.
“So at times we had to take advantage and record during the night which was also a challenge.”
