Zimbabwe's innings did not see much of any high-scoring efforts.

The team's best batter was Modester Mupachikwa who scored 34 from 59 balls, and team's innings had some notable contributions from Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano (28) and Audrey Mazvishaya (26 not out).

It was the Americans' bowling attack that restricted Zimbabwe from putting up any big total, with Geetika Kodali taking a brilliant five wickets for 43 runs. Saanvi Lmmadi also made pivotal contributions in the bowling department, claiming 3-28 in her 9 overs.

This confidence in bowling provided USA with a good launchpad in their chase. Their top order came through for them, with Disha Dhingra (41) and Anika Kolan (43) giving the team some good footing. Sindhu Sriharsha’s 30 not out was also enough to get the Americans towards chasing the target set by Zimbabwe without much pressure, capitalizing on Zimbabwe's bowling that did not prove to be much of a threat to the Americans' innings.

For Zimbabwe's bowlers, Josephine Nkomo scored 2-32, while Olinda Chare scored 2-41.

However, this was not enough to stop the Americans from reaching the target with some wickets to spare, thereby securing a four-wicket victory to keep the series and their hopes alive.

Geetika Kodali was named Player of the Match for her stellar bowling performance.
