DUBAI, United Arab Emirates—The Zimbabwe national men’s rugby team, the Sables, have announced their starting 15 for their test match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The match kicks off at 17:30 CAT at the Sevens Stadium in Dubai.
The Sables will feature four debutants, Jovan Bekker and Munashe Mhere in the starting 15, while Bryan Chiang and Kyle Godwin are impact players.
Should they take the field, both Chiang and Godwin will also earn their first caps for the national team.
Tadius Hwata returns to the Sables and hopes to make a crafty impact at the back of the line.
“I am happy to be back in the team, it is a different setup and more dynamic and the boys have leveled up since the the Africa Cup. It is an important moment for me to wear the stripes again and I want to express myself tomorrow,” said Hwata.
