Below is his poem:
‘We Can Gift You Our Blood Formally’ by Aye Brandon Kiven
We know you're going to meet
At some point
But we want it now
Because it's possible
If it's more blood that you want
Each one of us can donate
At least half a litre of it
From our donation we'll have another sea
If your money for luscious nutriment
And beverages aren't enough
We're able to make contributions
That can for days sustain the conciliation conference
If you meet at a time that isn't now
It will still be about the following:
You'll say that it was possible
to prevent the production of red sea
That it was possible not to bring about
the displacement
That it was possible to compromise
That such carnage must never again be
You'll add that for the nation to move forward
We need to forgive one another
And embrace a new beginning
That each citizen needs to be
an ambassador of peace
You'll say some other things
Then shake hands
And then eat and drink
And then we'll start
Gathering the broken pieces
of our miserable lives
All this is possible now
